Assignment - Please submit responses to Substitute by the end of class. If you prefer to write them in your logs you may, but you will need to email me your photos of the completed work before the end of your class period.

ASSIGNMENT

1.       Students will Read Hamlet Act 2.1, Compose Log Responses according to log guide in the Hamlet Log Books,

2.       Students will compose answers to the following before the end of class and turn them in to substitute:

A.      Using lines  2.1.1 – 83 as your guide – What words reveal Polonius’ values and character in these lines? To what extent were they revealed in 1.3? Be specific in your response.

B.      2.1.84 – end.  What is Hamlet up to in this scene? Read Ophelia’s account carefully and explain the impetus for these actions. Why is he treating Ophelia this way? Why Ophelia of all people? Does Hamlet Love Ophelia? If not how does he show this? If yes, what reasons could he have for putting on this show for her?

3.       Homework – Reading – Act 2 Scene 2 lines  1 – 318 and write in Logs for 2.2.1 - 318
