Substitute Lesson 2.1.15



Students are to work in pairs to read pp 785- 786 and p. 788 Perrines's  Literature Text Book.

Students will Read and answer questions in text for the following poems:
“Loveliest of Trees” by A.E. Housman, p. 786
“Stopping by Woods on a Snowing Evening” p.787
“The Lamb” by William Blake p. 793/94
“The Tiger” by William Blake p. 795
“”My Number” by Billy Collins p. 798
Read p. 886, Read “Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night” by Dylan Thomas p. 887 and answer the questions that follow.

All work is due at the end of class - we will talk about each of these on Wednesday for a quiz grade.
 
Under no circumstances are you to tie these poems to a “Chair, to find out what they really mean.”
